Meat Alchemy

Here's some visual documentation of my mother's zesty meatballs. Stop it.

She generally cranks these adorable little meat spheres out when we throw raucous parties at our house in Bayside. They have become a crowd favorite, and it's not uncommon to witness random guests stuffing their cheeks with them like deranged squirrels hoarding acorns.

They're zesty because as you can see, they are loaded with scallions. We also usually dip them in horseradish sauce, upping the level of ZESTINESS to astronomical proportions. I have captured the finished products in their most glorious state: Fresh out of the oven and dripping with saturated fat. Which is also how I prefer my women.

  1. Recipe? Besides scallions what goes into these lovely little balls?
